Hope I can remember where I found the pattern!
Pattern was from this book by Tone Finnanger. Used recycled old denim for the pouch and felt and beads for flowers.
Easy Peasy pattern. Forgot to take a pic of the lining! It was recycled shorts in hot pink Hawaii fabric.
Another pouch. I stupidly thought I could just "wing it" without a pattern! But the end result was a lop sided pouch lol.
And finally some coasters. I saw some made by a lady at work and loved them. I thought "what a lovely scrap fabric project". So being me I had to make some. When I have made some complimentary things to go with them, they will be given as a gift.
That's it from me tonight because I have a deadline to finish a surprise gift for a work colleague tomorrow. Show pics after delivery!

Love the pouches, Kylie! And those coasters are so great...did you use a pattern for them? I need to make some of those for my house!!! :o)
XOXO,
Cyndi
I like the shape of your coasters. I've winged my way thru' too many projects myself. It's quicker when you have a template.
These are so so cute Antmee! I love them. Yeah..I would have tried to wing it too--Ha! Wow..darling. I certainly want to try one of these. :o)
It isn't lopsided! It's artistic! I like it!
lovely pouches...yes...
I have the book.
hugs
The coasters are really interesting, with the 6-sided shape and the fabrics are so oriental-feel..
OMG, I made a lopsided pouch too, the same one! LOL! I like this one anyway!
I am so into pouches right now so I really love these. That hand stitching in pink is a lovely touch. Great idea on the coasters, too. I seem to have a phobia of sewing small things so I have an extra special appreciation of them because I'd be afraid to try them.
Those purses are so cute. I have also been toying with the idea to make myself a patchwork coaster for work but inspiration hasn't struck yet i.e. 'aha' moment. I currently use a cardboard one I procured from a local club.
I really like your pouches, especially the little toggles out of beads! The coasters are great too...great scrap fabric project!
Love those coasters - I like that green, it's summery!
The little purses are very cute. I really must make some myself, such a great gift.

Lovely pouches! I have that book, too. I like the beads, adds a nice touch. I need to make me some new coasters, I like handmade ones the best.
Beautiful work...love the material in those coasters. And I really like the shape of the case you made.
Thanks for your comment on my blog!...I will try using the denim needle to sew the burlap..will let you know how things worked out
Hi Kylie, I just wanted to let you know that I featured your darling purse on my blog today--Sewing and Craft projects this week...
I wanted everyone to see how cute it is!
Dear Antmee,
I love these pouches! I am always wondering what to do with my boy's outgrown jeans! This is a great idea. I'm so glad that I stumbled across your blog while visiting Donna's...I think it's wonderful!
Blessings,
Laura
